We are looking for Day Laborers:

A general laborer performs various manual tasks in support of the work of the Yard Manager. Job duties may include cleaning and preparing cobble, loading materials, and using a variety of hand and power tools in general construction and maintenance activities.

• Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor on orders.
• Clean work areas and equipment to maintain a safe work area
• Perform material handling and storage.
• Load and unload supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a day laborer to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

Laborers in this position lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time, and perform strenuous physical labor under a variety of conditions. Laborers lift, push, pull, and carry materials and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. The work requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 6-7 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday- some Thursdays or Fridays.

Work Location: Arbor Rock Yard in Arvada, CO

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English.
• Must have a valid driver license with clean driving record.
• Prior experience with forklift a plus.
