RUNNING & WARNING TRACK MATERIALS
Arbor Rock handles a scoria cinder material which is excellent for running tracks and warming tracks. The topping or running surface should be a mixture of scoria and a binder in order to get stability.
TruGro® HYDROPONIC GROWING MEDIUM
TruGro® is a vitrified, inert, sterile, inorganic absorbent ceramic granule made unique by its ability to manage moisture as a growing medium. Colorado mined, and fired – AKA “Lightweight Expanded Shale”, “Expanded Clay” and “lightweight aggregate”. Produced by grinding a specialized shale to the correct gradient, then timed prescribed firing in a rotary kiln at over 2000 degrees.
TURF TREATMENTS & CONDITIONERS
Arbor Rock is currently developing turf treatments and conditioners to augment our infield mixes and conditioners. Products to be made available are being developed with an eye to lowering water and fertilizer requirements. In the arid climate areas of the country, water is becoming an increasingly precious resource. We believe our new products will assist in the conservation of water. Further, these products are projected to reduce fertilization requirements by binding the fertilizers and releasing them slowly over time.
